Our Mission

Established in 1987, our mission has always been to achieve sustainable beauty. We approach each project with equal care and attention to detail—be it a new home or transformation of a historic structure, an academic masterplan or conceptual site plan. Our focus is to understand the project, working from the outside in so as to understand the sense of place in relation to the home's surrounding landscape. Our expertise and close attention to detail, in understanding both the needs and goals of the client and the property, are intangible skills that are tailored to each specific site. We believe that everyone deserves a healthy outdoor space and home in which to raise their family, entertain friends, and live life. 

Philip Logan Architects provides architectural design services, historic site design and consultation services, masterplan development, project administration and site installation supervision, as well as design-build options. Various projects resulted from collaborative joint work with Preservation Green LLC. We consider every detail, including the benefits of tax incentive programs, long-term maintenance practices, and ways to integrate sustainable technologies while maintaining historic preservation traditions.

Our success stems from a unique ability to work with a client to maintain schedule, budget, and high quality. Working globally, our goal is to produce high quality designs balanced with reasonable and predictable design services for each phase of work, in order to transform each project into one of lasting enjoyment and beauty.
